Well its time for another little post...
Whats been happening...Well we have a new political majority for a change. The liberals lost big time in Flanders but the socialists did even more, contrary to most of the predictions made, which is always pretty nice as their party has been pretty incompetent though I do respect their leader, who very ... is taking all the blame for himself which I think is a very noble sign yet I'd think it was more as him being the only competent candidate of his party than all the rest. And its going to take them quite a while it seems to form a government
Its been a great past couple of weeks, kinda like a "pre-summer" relaxed feeling already with all those days I could choose to use to do what I wanted to myself with no lessons between the exams. But now that the real summer's started it feels even better.
Checked out the new place I'd work at and it was instant love and immediately got 'hired'. Ok its nothing very deep in the finance sector yet, but its somethign I've always wanted to do to know what its like and to gain that experience too and I feel this may be the last summer left to use that opportunity...cocktail bar, hardest part learning all of those..making the right potions for everyone...ah well...the LSE experience has already given quite a head-start with that..
I've also decided not to rely on any one or anything anymore, except on myself and so far its proven awesome in terms of planning. Been running about here and there that I've hardly seen my computer these past few weeks and to be honest I haven't even really missed it that much anymore...which is not something I would have said a longer while back. Oh yes, one new thing on the Internet I've (re)discovered is Facebook, damn I had no idea how many people from the 'good ol' days' are on there...handy little social networking utility and I can see the addictive effect it has for some (hehe) that I'm going to leave it as that myself.

Thats all I'm starting to see right now...numbers numbers...I feel I even need a few seconds to revert to the world after having spent the last couple of days non-stop on this maths studying...It still doesn't seem enough though...
...what better way to lighten everything up than with some heated political debates on TV 2 weeks before the federal elections in our country...

...seriously though...always exciting to see the backwards socialist party in debate - with all due respect to what socialism and solidarity movements have achieved - IN THE PAST...They want to attract employment by giving higher unemployment benefits (and make the same mistake as they did in the past), our unemployment benefits already being one of the highest in the world but okey...they can continue to attract a couple more 10000s of immigrants to take advantage of this system, and with the amount of black/unoficial work that goes on here, combine that with the lovely social security why would one still WANT to work. Frankly though, I don't blame them, nor do I have anything against them (if they do work and integrate of course)...I always have to be a little careful to make political statements so with this I hope I'm saved from the extremist neo-Fascist categorization I could be subjected to...Oh my god, Sash!!! Anyways, nobody really reads this but me (and even then), so phew, I'm saved :-)
Enough ranting on about that...I'm relaxed, still pretty sane...I can disinvolve myself from that quite easily. Nah...not good not good...lets take it a little lighter...more studying?

Nah...Heroes !!!! Been missing a couple of episodes (actually probably the last 5-6 or so ) .
Its really the only series I still enjoy watching and don't feel I've wasted my time for doing so either with its subtly embedded interesting social themes...more about this some other time though... That sometimes fierceful strong hard blonde actually always reminds me of one of my ex's...funnily... Gotta love all the characters though, quite good acting. Loving that sexy little cheerleader specially, what a cute baby-faced feminine thing.
