After some hesitation I've decided to follow the Web2.0 trend and set up a blog too. I intend to use it as a personal diary which I will frequently update with what I’m up to and primarily use it for planning and progress I am making in several areas of my life.
So what can I say has been happening lately… Last Saturday I went out with a great (girl)friend of mine, Katrien, Memories night at Illusion, one of the few remaining legendary clubs of Belgium where they still play some subliminal trance and retro. Was a great night, danced til the early hours but specially Katie, there was no stopping in the energy of this girl, 5 o’clock and still dancing like she’d only just arrived, 6, 7… If it wasn’t a study period we would have stayed til the infamous closures in the late morning with the dark and unique sphere the club has at that time.
From left to right that’s Fred (my brother), Backer, Jens – 2 great guys who also have a strong passion for trance, and me. Cheers to Matthias who was there too ;- )
I've decided to minimise my time online and in front of the computer in general though this is proving to be quite hard but the plan is to stick to this blog, mails and study-work. Its been lovely weather here lately so an excellent time to do some multi-tasking and study and get a sexy tan in the sun whilst doing so.
For those guys not living in Belgium we've not had a single drop of rain this month, this has not even happened during a summer month since the first recordings were made some time in the 1800s an absolute record, driest and warmest April ever, you won't hear me complaining :) Great to multi-task; get a sexy tan whilst studying outside in the sun, oh yeah. Record after record they say on the news,hmmm...could this be nature's revenge…? Maybe I’ll have a look at Al Gore’s ‘Inconvenient Truth’ some time…
By the way, for those of you wondering what the title means in this blog, I used it from the album name of one of my favourite all-time artists, M.I.K.E., an amazingly talented electronic music producer and DJ who I would easily place next to the greatest classical music composers in history. Well this is all for today, Heroes and Temptation Island on TV tonight which are always quite fun to watch. That last program I’ve even started following and I view it with different eyes to the first seasons in terms of observing and analysing the behavioural patterns of the couples and the seducers – quite interesting to see the different types of men and women and being able to see what each is doing ‘wrong’ and ‘right’. My good buddy Benny in Germany will know exactly what I'm talking about ;-)
